Your heart. Our Mission.

We Believe In the power of the Gospel

The Gospel extends beyond the boundaries of our everyday life, more than we commonly encounter or even what we have been taught. Despite the many factors contributing to this reality, it remains an undeniable truth that Jesus came to bring healing to the brokenhearted, freedom to the captives, and the abundant gift of life. This timeless message holds its profound relevance today, just as it did when Jesus first uttered these words over two millennia ago.

We believe the Gospel has much to offer but the key areas we focus on are:

By His very nature, God is relational. He creates human beings in his image and like him, we long for connection and relationships. The most paramount is our relationship with God the Father and Jesus Christ The Son.

We believe in the Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ and we believe in his mission statement: “I have come to heal the brokenhearted and set the captives free” This is Jesus’ mission statement to the world and His offer for you and me- today still.

The key to life is relationship and restoration. When we are able to discern God’s “still small voice” and journey in life, receiving healing and restoration, the fruit is life in abundance- the life Jesus offers to all of humanity. John 10:10.

Our deepest beliefs can best be observed by the way we live our lives but for those who would like to know a little more, continue reading.

The Goal Is life - Retreats For Christian Men & Women

We love God's Church, yet we are Non-denominational.

As a non-denominational Christian ministry, we understand the importance of accountability for our ministry and the services we offer. Similar to any other Christian organisation, we bear responsibility for our actions and the impact we have on others. As leaders, we maintain individual affiliations and memberships with various local churches in Adelaide, South Australia, including the Lutheran, Baptist, and Evangelical church. These affiliations reflect our personal connections and involvement within the broader Christian community, enriching our perspectives and enabling us to draw from diverse theological backgrounds. Our commitment to accountability remains steadfast as we seek to serve God faithfully and fulfil our ministry’s purpose.

Although The Goal Is Life is not a church, we are acutely aware of the pressing need for truth and life in today's world. We wholeheartedly acknowledge and endorse the pivotal role played by local churches in proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We recognise the significance and value they bring to individuals and society at large. As an organisation, we seek to complement and support the efforts of these faith-based institutions, joining hands in our shared mission to bring light, hope, and transformation to the world we live in.

As leaders, we represent diverse backgrounds and beliefs, encompassing various denominations. While, as an organisation we do not align with any specific denomination, our primary objective is to facilitate a profound connection between individuals and their faith in God. Through this connection, we strive to foster the growth and unity of families, communities, and local churches, thereby promoting spiritual strength and collective well-being. All within the Church of Jesus Christ.

Our ultimate and primary accountability lies with God, Jesus, and His mission, as well as the Holy Spirit, from whom we seek guidance and discernment. Additionally, we recognise the importance of mutual accountability among ourselves as a team. This accountability is fostered through the leadership of pastors, executives, and the dedicated volunteers who generously contribute to the work of this ministry. By upholding multiple layers of accountability, we strive to ensure that our actions and decisions align with our shared commitment to faithfully serve God and fulfil His mission.
